We have multiple designers that use the spacepilot pro that came up with this problem after Solidworks was installed along side Solidworks Is there a command bar loading up with the 3d tools? I also posted the issue on the 3dconnexion forum, sllidworks haven’t received a single reply. Do you mean uninstalling and resintalling the 3dconnexion software?

It wasn’t mentioned, but I did stop and restart the driver during all the actions I tried. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software after you install Solidworks first?
This problem is fixable. Things I have done: I wish I could tell you. You get to it through the Start menu.
But solieworks this case that is not feasible. If the latter, then hit the button on the SpacePilot to enable rotation. You can also test this by starting the driver manually before running SolidWorks.

I have had to do this in the past when we updated to a newer version of Solidworks. I have attached a screen shot of all the add-ins for Solidworks They are running Windows 7, 64 bit.
Please type your message and try again. Even if I manually start the drivers, it will not work in SW. Paul, I am glad your issue was resolved. I am experiencing a similar problem There is a mode that turns off rotation and I wonder if that’s what you have set. You can also get to it in the 3DControl menu in SW – click on Rotate so that it has a check next oslidworks it. I have since then removed Solidworks to see if that would help, but didn’t. Also, when you say “will not rotate” do you actually mean no action, or do you really mean just no rotation?

Do you mean the 3dconnexion add-in? Then Right-Click on “start driver’ and select the “run as administrator” option.
Yes, that is clear. Make sure that the “Start 3DxWare” or “Start Driver” link was correctly put into your “startup” folder. The space pilot pro worked in all programs SolidworksNX 5.
